The court ruled in favor of Samsung to interpret the touchscreen technology of theGalaxy Tab 10.1 N, which slightly modifies previous models, and Nexus phones are widely used in the mobile telephony market, the company said in Seoul.

The court ruling in favor of the South Korean electronics giant comes just days after suffering consecutive setbacks in the German courts to the California company.

On Tuesday, the Düsseldorf Higher Court upheld a ban on the sale of the tablet Galaxy Galaxy Tab Tab 10.1 and 8.9 by a lower court handed down late last summer.

In addition, last Friday the Mannheim Regional Court rejected a demand for Appleconsidering that Samsung did not violate the patent laws with its data transmission technology of the iPhone and  some iPad  tablets.

Samsung and Apple have maintained for months a patent war with demands in different countries like USA, Australia, Japan, South Korea and Holland.
